The Weeping Willow Bow

Created by Bobbyx

The Weeping Willow Bow is a longbow of exceptional craftsmanship, carved from the fallen wood of a willow tree in the Whispering Fen. Its surface is etched with glimmering runes that shimmer in the moonlight, and its bowstring is spun from spectral silk, emitting a soft hum when drawn. Instead of normal arrows, the bow conjures shimmering bolts of mist and sorrow. The bow's Phantom Arrows do not require a quiver, as it creates these ghostly projectiles on demand. These arrows can harm both physical and ethereal beings, piercing flesh and spirit alike. On a critical hit, the Sorrowstrike ability causes the target to relive a moment of regret or despair, briefly stunning them. Once per day, the Weeping Willow Bow's Whispered Volley ability allows the wielder to fire three phantom arrows at once, each one guided by the whispering voices of the fen to seek the heart of its target. Additionally, the bow's Echo Arrow special ability allows the wielder to sacrifice their own vitality to fire an arrow that splits into multiple spectral bolts mid-flight, striking enemies in an arc.
