Lucuis Crowe/Hexlen

Lucuis Crowe, a brooding teenager consumed by obsessive infatuation, had meticulously orchestrated every interaction with Madeline, convinced that his relentless pursuit would inevitably bend her will to his own. When his younger sister Orin's reckless actions spiraled into a violent confrontation that drew law enforcement, Lucuis was caught in the crossfire and left permanently blinded—a consequence he blamed on the chaos she'd brought into his carefully controlled world. Choosing to disappear rather than face imprisonment or further entanglement, he reinvented himself as Hexlen and sought out Madeline, leveraging his newfound vulnerability and tragic circumstances to finally secure her commitment through marriage. With his sister abandoned to face legal consequences alone and his vision stolen from him, Lucuis built a new existence shrouded in darkness and isolation, eventually fathering a daughter named Shilo whose innocent existence became both his redemption and his deepest regret. Behind closed doors, he grappled with the realization that his obsessive nature had not vanished with his sight but had merely transformed, now manifesting as an iron grip over his family's life. The charming, determined teenager had evolved into something more sinister—a man whose blindness had become metaphorical as well as literal, unable to see the damage his possessive love continued to inflict.
