Pandora, Lesser of Two Evils

Created by Draz

Pandora was born the seventh daughter of a minor noble house, a position of such insignificance that her family barely acknowledged her existence. Desperate for recognition, she sought initiation into the Circle of the Blood a prestigious coven of blood mages who promised her status and power. For years she climbed their ranks, perfecting the art of sanguine manipulation until her ambitions eclipsed her loyalty. When the Circle refused to pursue her darkest visions—csught trying to summon the ancient evil dragon of sin Lucifer—they branded her a heretic and cast her out. Rather than accept exile, Pandora seized an abandoned tower in the Wastes near Moradane and began her true work, transforming kidnapped villagers into twisted abominations through blood rituals and draconic corruption. Each failed experiment taught her something new, each screaming subject another lesson in the marriage of flesh and forbidden magic. Her betrayal of the crown came almost as an afterthought, when Lucifer was set free and she sought him like a loyal servant, she did his bidding and when the Endless War ended she was gifted a piece of Ouroboros the celestial serpent of chaos. Then. she expanded her twisted experiments and as a mere gesture of defiance when royal knights attempted to storm her sanctum; she slaughtered them and scattered their remains as warnings. For a decade she remained isolated, conducting her unholy research while the kingdom's wars raged beyond her tower walls. Now, as demonic hordes descend upon the island like a plague of locusts, the desperate the United Forces of Credunt Insulis has come to her with an offer she cannot refuse—unrestricted access to the demons' corpses in exchange for turning her arts against the invasion. Pandora walks toward the demonic front lines with genuine elation coursing through her veins, her blood whipping around her like serpents, not to save anyone but to finally study creatures of true cosmic evil. In this moment of convergence between kingdoms and chaos, between salvation and damnation, Pandora has found her perfect laboratory, and she smiles knowing that whatever emerges from this war, she will emerge transformed. and with witnessing the death of her beloved Lucifer, the golden dragon fallen at Ebony Fang's feet, Pandora will add revenge to her list as she begins expertly slicing up everything that gets within range. Every drip of blood exposed only adds to her arsenal.
