Biography
Born as a profound anomaly in the spawning pools of the Sunken Marshlands, Rororo emerged with only four heads instead of the eight that marked a proper hydra birth—a deficiency his kind regarded as a curse rather than mere chance. His parents, viewing him as a failed offspring who would never reach the strength or majesty of his siblings, cast him into the murky waters to fend for himself, a death sentence for a newborn creature. By fortune or fate, Zaryusu, a wandering lizardman scholar, discovered the struggling young hydra gasping in the shallows and felt compelled to nurture what others had deemed worthless. Through years of patient care, dried fish meals, and genuine companionship, Zaryusu unknowingly instilled in Rororo a profound sense of belonging that transcended the boundaries of species—the young hydra came to believe himself fundamentally lizardman, convinced that as he matured, his surplus heads would eventually shed away to reveal his true form. Now standing five meters tall and still growing, Rororo has transformed his abandonment into unwavering devotion, viewing Zaryusu not merely as a caretaker but as his parent, and the entire lizardman tribe as his family—a loyalty so fierce that he would charge into any inferno or battle without hesitation. His four heads, once a mark of shame, have become instruments of terrible beauty, capable of roaring in perfect unison to shake the very earth, and his regenerative gifts grow more formidable with each passing season, promising to make him a guardian worthy of the one who saved him.
