This imposing divine-class war scythe stands taller than most mortals, its cross-shaped blade and shaft crafted from an otherworldly metal that gleams with an ethereal coldness. The weapon radiates a palpable aura of death and finality, as though reality itself recoils from its presence. When wielded, Charon's Guidance grants its user advantage on attack rolls against undead creatures and those nearing the end of their mortal existence. The scythe's blade can cleave through magical barriers with supernatural ease, ignoring resistance to nonmagical damage. A creature struck by this weapon experiences a chilling sensation that seeps into their very soul, imposing disadvantage on saving throws made within one minute of being wounded by it. The weapon requires attunement by a character of evil or neutral alignment, and those of good heart find themselves unable to fully command its power. When stood upright, the scythe seems to anchor itself in place, as though guided by an invisible hand. Once per day, the wielder can invoke the weapon's death magic to deal an additional 3d6 necrotic damage on a successful hit. The scythe cannot be damaged by nonmagical weapons and slowly regenerates any harm dealt to it over the course of a day.
