Shard Suppressant

Created by XanaSnacks

Shard Suppressant is a rare and costly alchemical elixir created through years of dedicated research by natural philosophers and artificers seeking to understand the insidious nature of Shard corruption. When consumed, this shimmering violet liquid temporarily alleviates the most debilitating physical and mental symptoms associated with prolonged exposure to corrupting crystalline forces, granting the afflicted individual a measure of relief and clarity. However, the suppressant merely masks the underlying corruption rather than eliminating it, making repeated doses necessary as the effects fade over time. The mixture tastes of bitter minerals and leaves a faint luminescence in the mouth that fades within moments of ingestion. Due to the rarity of its components and the complexity of its preparation, a single vial commands an exorbitant price in most markets. Those desperate to combat corruption's creeping influence often resort to purchasing multiple doses, though wise healers warn that prolonged reliance on the suppressant without seeking a true cure may lead to the corruption's eventual return with greater severity.
