Aerys Amberstepforge

Aerys Amberstepforge was born beneath a meteor shower in a remote mountain observatory where their scholar parents studied the celestial mechanics of reality itself, eventually discovering that dawn was not merely an astronomical event but a carefully orchestrated performance requiring a celestial stagehand. When their draconic heritage manifested at adolescence, their parents recognized the synchronicity—Aerys's scales began to shimmer with the same luminescent quality as starlight, as if they had absorbed fragments of the cosmos during their birth. After years of apprenticeship learning the ancient art of horizon manipulation through music and precise timing, Aerys took their place backstage at the edge of the world, where glowing ropes of solidified light respond to their voice and touch. Each morning before the sun rises, they perform an intricate bard's composition, cuing the world's greatest stage production: the daily awakening of existence itself. Their overalls, woven from meteorite silk, bear permanent stains of stellar dust that never quite washes away, a badge of their nightly labor. The birds' dawn chorus is not coincidence but applause for a performance that has been running since time immemorial, and Aerys alone holds the knowledge that every sunrise depends upon their unwavering dedication to the craft. Though weary from countless pre-dawn rehearsals, Aerys finds profound meaning in this solitary responsibility, understanding that they are both artist and essential architect of each new day's arrival.
