The Arrival Atrium is the first interior space a newly arrived inmate encounters. Spanning nearly 2,500 square meters under a vaulted ceiling of reinforced pleochroic glass, it bathes incoming transport ships in a diffused, disorienting light that shifts slowly through the visible spectrum. Three gleaming docking bays on the eastern wall receive armored transport shuttles; automated ramp gates seal behind the vehicle to prevent any external surveillance. Beneath the bays, a grated drainage system channels chemical residues, blood, or other contaminants straight into a biohazard neutralization subsystem. Opposite the bays, a row of bullet- and energy-resistant bollards marks the boundary between vehicle clearance and pedestrian passage. Once they step off the transport, inmates are herded through the Security Screening Checkpoint,whvyghere all clothing and personal effects are stripped at a reinforced steel bench. Garments are incinerated or stored in quarantine lockers. After that, inmates enter the Identification Suite, where Acheron's meticulous record-keeping crystallizes each individual’s existence into data points. This suite contains twelve automated cubicles, each equipped with a Tri-Angle Camera Matrix: Three synchronized high-definition cameras capture frontal, left-profile, and right-profile images against a chroma-scale background, an embedded spectrometer records surface temperature variances and invisible markings. Completed mugshots usher inmates into the Personal Effects Inventory room. Here, technicians catalog every item—from hair samples to personal writings—assigning each a unique item code. Contraband is immediately vaporized in a high-temperature micro-furnace. After this process, the inmates will be transported to their cells.
