Zach Clover ( emerald leprechaun)

Zach Clover was born in Dublin to a lineage of hedge wizards whose magic had been diluted through generations of secrecy and exile, leaving him with only fragmented spells and whispered incantations from his grandmother's grimoire. When his latent powers suddenly awakened on his eighteenth birthday—manifesting as both arcane teleportation and supernatural velocity—he realized the old family magic was reasserting itself through him with unprecedented force, marking him as the chosen vessel to restore their bloodline's ancient purpose. Fleeing Ireland after accidentally revealing his emerald eyes glowing with raw magical energy during a street altercation, Zach found himself drawn to Star City, where he sensed a spiritual call to protect those caught between the mundane and magical worlds. Rather than use his newfound abilities for personal gain, he devoted himself to studying both restoration magic and defensive spellcraft, becoming a hero who repairs the damage caused by others' conflicts while using his speed and teleportation to save lives before tragedy strikes. His peers call him the Emerald Leprechaun not out of mockery but respect—a reference to the legendary trickster guardians of Irish mythology who possessed impossible speed and magical cunning, qualities Zach now embodies with a strict moral code. Haunted by the burden of being his family's last hope and the sole keeper of their resurgent power, he walks a careful line between the hero Star City needs and the guardian his bloodline demands him to be.
