Laura

Laura was born to a renowned geneticist who had grown obsessed with unlocking the dormant animal instincts hidden within human DNA, believing that such primal power could cure the world's greatest ailments. During a late-night experiment gone wrong, Laura's mother was exposed to an unstable hybrid serum, and nine months later, Laura emerged as something unprecedented—a being caught between two worlds, with the cunning intellect of her human father and the feral grace of a wolf. Rather than hide her transformation, her parents raised her to see her unique physiology as a gift, training her from childhood to master both her heightened senses and her formidable strength. When a rogue faction of her mother's former colleagues attempted to weaponize the same serum for criminal purposes, Laura realized her true calling and took to the streets as a protector, using her dual nature to hunt down those who would exploit science for destruction. Her silver-touched fur and luminous amber eyes have become a beacon of hope in the city's darkest corners, and she now walks the line between her two natures with the conviction that being different isn't a curse—it's a responsibility. Every full moon, Laura must retreat to the wilderness to reconnect with her wolf heritage, lest the animal side grow restless and consume her human consciousness entirely.
