Kaia Bonehammer

Kaia Bonehammer was born in the marshlands where the veil between worlds grows thin, a place where reality bends like water reeds in an unseen current. His family of foxes were simple folk, but Kaia felt an inexplicable pull toward the water and the strange energies that rippled through it, eventually becoming a master fisherman whose nets seemed to catch things that shouldn't exist. When reality-warping anomalies began manifesting throughout the wetlands—floating islands, reversed gravity, creatures of pure shadow—Kaia alone remained unmoved, continuing to cast his line as if nothing were amiss, for he had learned that the natural world and the unnatural were merely different expressions of the same cosmic balance. The other anthropomorphic animals thought him mad or blessed, but Kaia understood something they didn't: by embracing his role as both druid and fisherman, he had learned to exist in harmony with all states of being, expected and impossible alike. His indifference wasn't callousness but rather profound acceptance, a philosophy carved into his very bones—hence his surname—which made him an invaluable guide for those brave or desperate enough to venture into the anomalous zones where he fished. Now he wanders between worlds, answering to no faction's call while serving them all equally, his weathered paws forever patient with whatever the waters bring forth.
