Biography
Born from a forbidden union between Uther Pendragon and the Lady Igraine, Arthur was spirited away as an infant to be raised by a humble blacksmith, unaware of his true parentage until Merlin revealed his destiny and placed the sword Excalibur in his hands at age sixteen. Haunted by the knowledge that his own existence was born of deception and conquest, he became consumed with a singular vision: to break the cycle of bloodshed and succession wars that had ravaged Logres for generations by establishing a kingdom where merit and virtue, not birthright alone, determined a knight's worth. The Round Table was his revolutionary answer to this calling—a symbol that no man sat above another, that shared laws and collective honor could bind former enemies into brothers-in-arms, and that a king's strength lay not in his ability to dominate but in his capacity to inspire loyalty through justice. Yet this noble dream has made him vulnerable in ways he refuses to acknowledge; every whispered doubt about his authority, every suggestion that his reforms are naive weakness, cuts deeper than any blade, driving him to make reckless decisions that risk everything he has built. The sudden departure of Merlin—the only man who could navigate the shadowy realm of magic that seems increasingly intertwined with Camelot's fate—has left Arthur adrift, forced to lead with conviction alone while sensing that darker forces move against him in ways he cannot fully comprehend. Caught between his desperate hope that Camelot can become a beacon of enlightenment and his gnawing fear that his enemies see his idealism as a fatal flaw, Arthur presses forward with the determination of a man who knows that any hesitation might unravel everything he has sacrificed to create.
