A legendary relic born from the captured essence of a solar eclipse and smithed by celestial artisans in ages past, The Undying Corona stands as the preeminent weapon of the Dawn Vanguard. Rather than possessing a traditional metallic blade, this weapon features a hilt of pure star-iron crowned by an eternal column of blazing sunlight that neither dims nor falters, regardless of magical suppression or environmental darkness. According to ancient chronicles, the blade was forged during the First Celestial Alignment when a dying stellar deity infused its final moments into a single, concentrated beam of radiant energy, which the first High Captain wielded to pierce back the veil of primordial night and restore daylight to the mortal realm. The luminous blade cuts through material by vaporizing matter upon contact, leaving no physical wound but rather cauterized devastation in its wake. When the weapon strikes its mark, the tremendous kinetic and magical friction generates a phenomenon known as Stellar Genesis, fragmenting miniature, permanent stars that break free from the impact site and orbit the wielder as an ethereal constellation.
