Character
Tavi Starbarleyhearth
Created by GABRI44Tavi Starbarleyhearth was born in the shadow of the Deins' greatest library, where their grandmother served as keeper of forgotten maps—charts that led not to distant lands, but inward through the labyrinths of the soul. When plague swept through their village, Tavi discovered that the traditional healers could mend bodies but not the fractures left behind in the spirit, and they watched their own mother waste away from a wound no poultice could touch. In desperation, they began crafting strange soles from leather that seemed to absorb light rather than reflect it, infused with whispers learned from their grandmother's dustiest tomes, each pair attuned to the unique rhythm of its wearer's inner world. The Deins recognized in Tavi a new kind of artisan—one who understood that the journey inward required the same preparation as any expedition, and that courage often crumbles at the threshold where true vulnerability begins. Now they kneel at their cluttered bench in the faction's heart, their hands moving with ritualistic precision as they measure not the feet of those who come seeking, but the trembling pulse beneath their skin, knowing that the most dangerous roads are those we must walk alone through our own darkness. Each boot they craft becomes a companion for that solitary pilgrimage, a vessel of comfort that whispers: *you are ready, even when you are afraid*.
