This legendary weapon manifests as an ornate cannon of human/alien design, its barrel inscribed with six glowing runes from the six space species that built it. When activated, it creates eight luminous projectiles wreathed in golden solar plasma. The cannon draws power from an ancient engine design that channels both the raw energy of the sun and the unstable essence of nuclear forces, allowing it to fire with devastating precision. A central control processor guides each projectile to strike with unerring accuracy against distant targets up to 500 thousand kilometers away. The weapon deals both plasma and force damage, capable of piercing through most magshields and the toughest ship armor. The Solar Pulse Armament requires a skilled gunner and can be fired once every ten minutes without penalty. Between volleys, the weapon recharges by absorbing ambient fusion energy and sunlight, making it formidable in prolonged battles. Still, the weapon needs a cooldown period of several hours after 1 hour of continuous use. Up to four of these cannons can be fitted onto a spaceship. Six have been placed upon the UED-SS January.
