Bianca Corvinus

Born into the marble halls of the Corvinus estate, Bianca was raised in the shadow of her father's military campaigns, where she learned that a woman's intellect could be as formidable as any soldier's blade. When her father, a decorated legate, began taking her on his tours of the legions under the guise of an unofficial aide, she absorbed the brutal mathematics of command—how to read men's faces, anticipate mutiny, and negotiate with the cunning of a seasoned diplomat. Her peers dismissed her as merely ornamental in her preferred silken garments, yet those same peers watched in stunned silence as she negotiated trade disputes that had bloodied lesser negotiators and personally led a merchant expedition through bandit-infested territories when her father's legion was pinned elsewhere. She cultivated a reputation with calculated precision: lavish hospitality and genuine warmth toward her allies, coupled with a cold, methodical response to those foolish enough to mistake her grace for weakness. The whispers in Rome's corridors spoke of how she had orchestrated the financial ruin of a senator who had insulted her family, doing so with such elegance that no one could prove malice. Now, neither wholly confined to the domestic sphere nor fully integrated into the military hierarchy, Bianca exists in the liminal space between worlds—a woman who embodies the contradiction of silk and steel, hospitality and ruthlessness.
