Genie'S Blade
This elegantly crafted sword features intricate golden filigree along its length, culminating in an ornate crossguard that frames a deep sapphire gemstone. The jewel seems to shimmer with an otherworldly light, and those who peer closely enough can discern the faint outline of a miniature chamber suspended within its crystalline depths. Forged in antiquity by genies as an instrument of justice against those who would steal from them, the blade carries a powerful curse that binds anyone foolish enough to touch it directly to the gemstone's interior realm. Those trapped within exist in a state of suspended animation, neither aging nor dying, forced to contemplate their transgression in isolation. The curse can be temporarily broken through sufficiently powerful magic, though the enchantment inevitably reasserts itself each sunset. A permanent escape requires either another soul to draw the blade and claim three wishes granted by the trapped individual, or—most difficultly—to obtain genuine forgiveness from the blade's creator or current master. The weapon remains both a tool of punishment and, paradoxically, a path to redemption for those cursed enough to claim it
