Biography

Bralec was born in the crystalline caverns beneath the Shattered Peaks, where bioluminescent fungi paint the darkness in shades of violet and green, the unwanted offspring of a human scholar and an infernal being who met during a cataclysmic ritual gone wrong. Their pale azure complexion and vibrant rose-colored hair marked them as neither fully of the surface world nor the depths below, causing their mother to abandon them to the care of a reclusive order of monks who believed all souls deserved redemption. For years, Bralec studied the ancient texts housed in the monastery's library, discovering that their infernal heritage granted them an uncanny ability to read emotions through the subtle shifts in magical auras that surrounded living creatures. When a terrible plague swept through the region, Bralec used this gift to identify the afflicted and guide them to sanctuary, earning the respect of the townspeople who had once feared their demonic appearance. However, their newfound purpose was shattered when they learned the plague itself was engineered by their absent father as a twisted experiment, and Bralec was forced to choose between their bloodline's dark legacy and their own moral compass. Now they wander the world as a seeker of balance, using their unique perspective to help those caught between worlds, much like themselves.
