Talia — Leader Of The Sea Turtles

Talia's shell bears the scars of three centuries, each crack and weathered ridge a testament to epochs most mortals have forgotten—she was already ancient when the first stones of the modern kingdoms were laid. Her lineage traces back through an unbroken chain of matriarchs to a time when the Azure Coast was merely a frontier of something far grander, a civilization that rose and fell before written history began. The oral traditions passed down through her clan speak of sunken cities, underwater monuments, and a civilization that mastered tides and starlight in ways that would seem like sorcery to contemporary scholars. Though she dwells in the depths and rarely surfaces into the affairs of land-bound rulers, her occasional pronouncements carry the weight of absolute authority—even the proudest monarchs have been known to pause and reconsider when word comes that Talia has spoken. What few know is that she holds fragments of a terrible secret: the true founding of Prideland was not a triumph of heroic conquest, but rather a desperate refuge for survivors fleeing the collapse of the ancient world she remembers. She guards this knowledge not out of malice, but from a deep understanding that some truths, if revealed, would shatter the fragile mythologies upon which the current age has built its foundations.
