This lustrous golden orb, no larger than a pea, radiates warmth to the touch and seems to shimmer with barely contained magical energy. Upon consumption, the pill dissolves smoothly across the tongue with an unexpectedly pleasant fruity flavor, though its true nature soon becomes apparent as the user's body begins to radiate intense heat and their muscles visibly swell with supernatural strength. Over the course of two rounds, the imbiber gains a +5 bonus to Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution checks, and must choose to either gain 25 temporary hit points or gain 5 resistance to bludgeoning and slashing damage for the duration of the enhancement. This extraordinary boost lasts for 5 minutes before fading, at which point the user must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 15 + their character level + Constitution modifier) or collapse into unconsciousness. Those who resist the effect suffer from exhaustion for 1d8 hours as their body recovers from the magical strain.
