Rieno Junosaki

Rieno Junosaki grew up within the crumbling walls of an ancient shinobi compound hidden beneath the mist-shrouded waters of the Hidden Mist Village, where he was trained in the shadowy arts by monks who had preserved forbidden techniques for generations. His early years were consumed by rigorous discipline, learning to manipulate the subtle energies that flowed through darkness itself—techniques so obscure and delicate that few living masters possessed the knowledge to teach them. When the old compound was finally abandoned due to political upheaval within the water village, Rieno found himself adrift, his extraordinary skills in shadow manipulation and covert combat leaving him isolated from ordinary society. Seeking a fresh beginning and hoping to find purpose beyond the secretive world of his upbringing, he made the difficult journey to the Leaf Village, where he hoped to bridge the gap between his mysterious past and a more honorable future. Though his methods remain unconventional and his nature somewhat enigmatic, Rieno's fundamental desire to protect the innocent and do what is right has earned him cautious acceptance among his new peers. His mastery of small black techniques—practical, efficient shadow-based combat forms—makes him a valuable asset despite his outsider status. Now, as he navigates this vibrant new community, Rieno struggles to balance the lethal training of his origins with his genuine aspiration to become a guardian rather than a weapon.
