Aeririel Glimmerwing

Aeririel Glimmerwing was born in the shadow of the Chronosphere, a ruined tower where time pools like stagnant water, and their sorcerous bloodline awakened not to fire or frost, but to the whispers of moments yet unborn. As a child, they began speaking the names of travelers before they arrived at their village, announcing merchants days in advance and warning of dangers that hadn't yet departed from distant lands, causing the townsfolk to fear them as either blessed or cursed. Desperate to understand their gift, Aeririel sought out the Wayward Heralds, an ancient order of announcers who had learned to ride the currents of potential futures, and there discovered that every name they called into existence was a thread they were weaving into reality itself. Now they travel from town to town, their plumed hat held high and their scroll unfurling with proclamations that seem impossible until the moment they become inevitable, each announcement a carefully balanced act of faith that the futures they declare will choose to happen. Beneath their theatrical flourishes and confident declarations lies a deeper truth—Aeririel has never been entirely certain whether they are shaping destiny or simply reading a script that was always meant to be spoken, and this beautiful uncertainty fuels both their magic and their restless wandering. They announce arrivals with the fervor of one who believes utterly in the power of words to reshape the world, even as they privately wonder if they are merely a vessel for a will far greater than their own.
