Pip Star-Carver

Created by VastDragon5016

Born during a meteor shower in the hold of a merchant vessel, Pip Star-Carver was raised by the Dream Pirates after his parents' ship was wrecked upon the Shattered Reefs, leaving him orphaned but alive—a miracle the crew attributed to the stars themselves guiding him safely through the wreckage. Rescued by the captain and nursed back to health by the ship's healer, young Pip discovered an innate connection to nature's mending forces, his small hands learning to coax life back into broken things long before he understood the druidic magic flowing through his veins. As he grew, he began carving constellation maps into every wooden prosthetic limb and ship railing he repaired, each star pattern a prayer to the celestial forces that had spared his life, transforming the crew's disabilities and battle scars into charts of hope and navigation. His unwavering optimism—born from surviving the unsurvivable—became legendary among the Dream Pirates, who viewed him not as a cursed cabin boy but as a living talisman of good fortune, and his belief that every injury could be healed and every broken thing could become beautiful again inspired even the most hardened sailors to see their futures as possibilities rather than limitations. Though the Dream Pirates operated in moral gray waters, Pip's steadfast kindness and genuine care for each crew member kept them anchored to something resembling righteousness, and he refused to heal those who would use his magic to cause unnecessary suffering. To this day, Pip carries a small piece of the meteor that fell the night he was born, carved into the shape of a star, and he believes that cosmic destiny placed him exactly where he needed to be—mending bodies, mending ships, and mending the souls of those society had deemed broken beyond repair.
