Saemus, The Old Man On The Hill

Created by R_Nixon

Saemus, The Old Man On The Hill, was once a beacon of unity and tradition for the Halfling and Gnomish people. As the husband of Kama, the Halfling deity of Shadows and Tricks, he represented the values that held their communities together: family, leadership, and the wisdom that comes from curiosity. However, when the Imperial Commonwealth drove their people out of the Heartlands, facing genocide and exile, the pain and anger of the displaced Halflings transformed Kama into the vengeful Carmilla, Lady Redfoot. This schism tore the Halfling Pantheon apart, as the once-united couple divorced. Saemus led his people to the East, where they sought to rebuild, while Carmilla's followers pursued retribution. Though Saemus and his flock strive to make peace, the days of resolution between the two sides seem long past, as the divide between them only deepens with time. His known by his symbol, a golden house on a silver hill. While his favored weapon is the sling staff that he leans on named Ol Knocker.
