Character
Edward Miser
Born into a wealthy family, Edward was always destined for greatness, but his true nature was hidden beneath a veneer of philanthropy and generosity. As the owner of the finest tailor shop in all of Hyperion, he has amassed a fortune catering to the wealthy elite. Mr. Miser is very skilled. Not in his mastery of the art of tailoring in which he knows very little and hires staff to handel the day to day, but in his mastery in the art of manipulation which is unquestionable. Edward loves to make unfair deals and trades, often leaving his counterpart fooled into believing they've made a good choice. He is extremely secretive, especially when selecting his apprentices. Though they need skills in the art, his choices are rather odd. Instead of those who have some renounced fame, and have worked on the field, Edward prefers to take in lesser know artists that are born of low means. Though most believe this is a kind gesture to help encourage the less fortunate, as Edward speaks of how his apprentices recieve offers to open shops in distant realms, some speculate he favors those that no one would question if they disapearance, which they often do. Mr. Miser, like the rest of the wealthy nobles of Hyperion, lives in Timber Falls. His mansion sits a top the gated hills of its riches of residents. He attends many lucrative parties at the home of his closest friend and fellow councilor Jasper Landon, the most wealthy nobel of Hyperion. Rumors abound of his involvement in the occult practices of the Hyperion nobles, and whispers of dark rituals and unholy sacrifices in the shadows of Misty Hollow. Yet, Edward Miser remains a respected figure in society, his true nature hidden behind a mask of respectability and charm. Only those who dare to venture too close to his web of deceit and corruption will truly understand the darkness that lies within this enigmatic figure. Edward is a short and slender older man with gray hair. his nose is long and a dominant feature of his face. He has blue eyes and a few whiskers growing from a mole on his cheek.
