Travis

Born beneath the Chronos Willows in the Silverwood Forest, Travis was cursed at birth when a temporal mage's dying spell shattered across his cradle, fragmenting his connection to the natural flow of time itself. Raised by a circle of silent monks who taught him to channel this fractured gift through disciplined archery, he learned to perceive the world in infinitesimal moments, each heartbeat a universe unto itself. His senses evolved beyond those of common elves—he could taste the metallic tang of an arrow's trajectory through air, hear the whisper of fate bending around his targets, and feel the precise instant when probability crystallized into certainty. For decades he wandered the borderlands between civilization and wilderness, refusing allegiance to either good or evil, content only with the pursuit of perfect precision and the mastery of his craft. His ability to halt time for a single minute became both blessing and curse, a power he uses sparingly, knowing that each frozen moment demands an impossible choice about which life to save and which to let fall. Travis remains an enigma even to himself—a being caught between heartbeats, forever seeking balance in a world that demands he choose a side.
