Black Fang

Born into nobility amongst the ancient wolf bloodline that once ruled the northern forests, Black Fang was destined for greatness until a merciless slaughter claimed his entire pack when he was barely old enough to hunt—a tragedy that would have broken lesser creatures, yet only hardened his resolve to survive. In his darkest hours of isolation and grief, the forest itself seemed to recognize his unwavering will to endure, blessing him with the extraordinary ability to consume the essence of fallen creatures and inherit their gifts, transforming him into something beyond natural wolf. Through decades of solitary wandering and countless trials, he accumulated the speed of mountain cats, the awareness of hunting birds, and the cunning of foxes, all while mastering the tongues of beasts and men alike. His redemption came when he discovered a human child named Keyawni, orphaned and lost in the woods much like himself, and together they found in one another the family that fate had stolen from them both. With Keyawni fashioning a saddle upon his massive frame, they became an unconventional pack of two—protectors of the forest who answer to no law but their own sense of justice. Black Fang's scars tell the story of a warrior who refused to surrender to despair, and his bright blue eyes burn with the fierce determination of one who will never allow another innocent soul to suffer the loneliness he once endured.
