Armor

Cronos Nihility

Created by Nevarre

This legendary suit of armor was personally bestowed upon its wielder by imperial decree, marking them as a chosen champion of the realm. The polished obsidian plates seem to absorb light itself, creating an unsettling void wherever the wearer stands. When activated through an act of will, the armor grants its bearer a fleeting ability to halt the flow of time around them, allowing a single moment of respite in the midst of battle—though this power can only be invoked sparingly before the wearer must rest. The most terrifying aspect of this armor is the palpable aura of oblivion that emanates from it, a crushing presence of nothingness that rivals even the legendary dread of Shadow's Descent. Those who stand too close to the wearer feel as though they are being unmade, their very essence threatened by the armor's hunger for annihilation. The void-touched metal seems to exist partially outside reality, shifting between states of solidity and shadow. Wearing this armor marks one as either a savior or a harbinger of doom, depending on their intentions. The weight of imperial favor is nothing compared to the weight of the oblivion that follows in its wake.
