Character
Lucanwick Evensong
Created by EtherealDragon5065Born beneath the silver boughs of the Thornwood realm, Lucanwick Evensong was raised not in royal comfort but in the training grounds of her father's honor guard, where she learned that true nobility meant sacrifice rather than privilege. When a plague of shadow corruption threatened to consume her kingdom from within, the young warrior took up arms herself, fighting alongside her people instead of commanding from a distant throne, and through her unwavering courage and tactical brilliance, she turned the tide of darkness. Her subjects, witnessing their princess bleeding in the trenches beside them, rallied with renewed fervor, and when her aging mother passed shortly after the victory, the crown came to Lucanwick not through distant ceremony but through the unanimous will of a people who had seen her heart. As queen, she refused to abandon her sword or the code of justice that had guided her through battle, establishing a reign where law and mercy walked hand in hand, and where the monarch herself stood ready to defend her realm when darkness threatened again. Her throne room became as much a war council as a seat of government, and her crown was often exchanged for a helmet when duty called. Though some courtiers whispered that a queen belonged in her castle, Lucanwick understood that the greatest throne was built upon the trust of those willing to fight beside their sovereign.
