The Two Headed Bone Drake

Created by Willows Seether

Born in the volcanic depths of the Scorched Caldera, the creature that would become known as the Bone Drake was once a proud wyvern of extraordinary size and intellect, until the day a catastrophic eruption claimed its left eye and half its body in searing flame. Rather than perish in agony, it crawled through the molten rivers seeking death, only to be discovered by a rogue faction of artificers who saw potential in its magnificent frame and feral hunger for vengeance. They grafted cybernetic implants into its scarred flesh—a luminous mechanical eye that granted it visions beyond normal sight, and plates of enchanted steel etched with profane runes across its chest—transforming the dying beast into something neither fully organic nor entirely machine. Driven mad by the surgery and the whispers of the infernal magic woven into its new parts, the Drake began adorning itself with the bleached bones of everything it killed, layering them across its hide like macabre trophy armor that clattered with each furious movement. It discovered an unholy communion with the lava that had nearly destroyed it, learning to command the molten rivers as extensions of its will, using them to incinerate rivals and obliterate settlements that dared approach its volcanic domain. Now it rules the Scorched Caldera as a chaotic force of pure destruction, neither serving any master nor respecting any law, using its newfound power to wage an endless war against a world it blames for its suffering and transformation.
