Crucifixo Da Saudade

Created by Juxt_attack_ack

This haunting relic takes the form of a pendant fashioned from four elongated iron nails bound together with gilded wire, converging upon a silver medallion at its center. The medallion bears a hollow depression carved in the shape of an empty chalice—a void where something sacred once resided, now lost to time or circumstance. When worn, the Crucifixo imparts upon its bearer a profound emotional detachment, granting them an unsettling clarity and mechanical precision in their actions, as though they observe the world through frosted glass. Yet this coldness exacts a hidden toll; the longer the pendant adorns the wearer, the more their own cherished memories and connections begin to feel like distant echoes, as if belonging to someone else entirely. Those who attempt to remove it after prolonged wear find themselves paralyzed by a crushing sorrow—the sudden, overwhelming flood of every loss, longing, and impossible desire they have suppressed. The relic's true nature remains enigmatic: whether it serves as a memorial to what has vanished, a tool for achieving freedom through severance, or something far more
