The Burning Warlord

Born as a slave in the obsidian mines beneath Mount Infernus, Kaedros was forged—literally—when a catastrophic eruption consumed his entire labor camp, transforming his body into living volcanic glass threaded with veins of eternal flame. While his captors perished in the inferno, he alone survived, his newborn form burning with an insatiable hunger for freedom and dominion. He claimed the Ashen Greatsword from a volcano's depths, a blade that sang in harmony with his newfound power, and declared himself unbounded by any master. Driven by the trauma of his enslavement and the exhilarating rush of his transformation, Kaedros became convinced that strength alone determined one's right to rule, and that only through conquest could he build a world where no creature would ever be shackled again. His campaign of expansion began as liberation but twisted into obsession, each kingdom he conquered fueling his pride rather than his purpose. Now, bearing the title of Burning Warlord, he wages eternal war across the realm, unable to distinguish between the freedom he once craved and the tyranny he now imposes, perpetually reborn from his own flames to continue his endless quest to prove that he is the mightiest force ever to walk the earth.

Hellfire Control

Choose a point within 60 ft. Each creature in a 20 ft. radius must make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw, taking 6d10 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success.

Magma Armor

As a bonus action, Kaedros envelops himself in molten stone, gaining 20 temporary hit points and dealing 2d6 fire damage to any creature that hits him with a melee attack.

Inferno Army

Summons 2d4 fire elementals to fight alongside him for 1 minute. They act on his turn and follow his commands.

Flame Rebirth

Upon being reduced to 0 hit points, Kaedros can choose to be reborn in flames, regaining 100 hit points and immediately using Hellfire Control as a free action.

Magma Resilience

Resistance to fire and bludgeoning damage.

Infernal Presence

Enemies within 30 feet have disadvantage on saving throws against fear.
