The Iberian Oversea Empire

Created by Bonix

This grand flag bears the colors of a unified realm spanning two great kingdoms—three horizontal stripes of crimson and amber that ripple like the very waves conquered by its fleets. At its center, a mystical emblem depicts a verdant crescent moon cradled within a golden sun, a symbol of the empire's joint dominion of Portugal and Spain over both Old World and distant colonial territories across the Oversea expanse. Born from the merger of two crowns following the fall of the Visitorq, this banner once flew proudly over vast holdings in the southern reaches of the world, a testament to an age of unparalleled maritime supremacy and golden prosperity. The sudden severance of contact with these distant colonies following the cataclysmic invasion of the Blighted Vanguard in Europe shattered the empire's unity, claiming even the life of Emperor Carlos in his desperate bid to restore the connection. Now under the regency of Fernando and the young sovereigns Luka and Zaria, the empire endures through crisis and transformation, its Marines gave their contribution during the Miracle of the Rhineland, together with the Tiberian League and the Gallian Military Junta. After that battle, the Iberian Empire became the second member of the Rhineland United Front. Since then the Empire concentrated its efforts into upgrading their mighty navy and marines, using the Tiberian ports to secure the mediterrean routes in vision of possible operations in Africa and trying to break off the rigorfrosted English Channel,in order to make landfall in Britain and understand what the Visitorq Vidar plotter there,as all the exchanges were cut off following the Great Invasion. The Iberian Oversea Empire is a core member of the surviving Europe,as their naval knowledge will prove instrumental once whaetever lurks in the Atlantic Ocean will be finally dealt with.
