Components
Verbal
By the power of nature's wrath, I summon forth a deadly overgrowth!
Somatic
The caster's hands begin to glow with a sickly green light as they make intricate gestures.
Material
A vial of potent acid, which is consumed upon casting.
Effects
Upon casting, a massive, toxic plant erupts from the ground, coating the surrounding area in a deluge of corrosive liquid. The liquid is highly acidic and can dissolve almost anything it touches, including the caster if they are not careful. Any creature caught in the area of effect takes 8d6 acid damage and must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 15) or be restrained by the overgrowth. The plant remains for 1 hour, continuously releasing the toxic sludge and causing damage to any creature that enters or starts its turn within the area. The caster must maintain concentration for the duration of the spell.
