Toon Alligator emerged into existence not through natural birth, but through the fevered imagination of a forgotten animator named Chester Wobblesworth, who in 1952 accidentally spilled a vial of sentience serum onto a cel painting during a late-night studio session. Rather than remaining trapped in two dimensions, Toon Alligator burst forth into the real world as a gloriously exaggerated creature of rubber limbs and impossible physics, retaining all the anarchic energy and slapstick invulnerability of classic animation. The axe they carry—a prop from an unfinished lumber-jack musical that never made it past the storyboard stage—became their constant companion and unexpected weapon, capable of splitting reality itself with a well-timed swing. For decades, Toon Alligator wandered between the fading cartoon studios and the edges of the real world, caught between two dimensions and never quite belonging to either, their androgynous form shifting subtly depending on who was looking and what they expected to see. When the last hand-drawn animation studios began to close, Toon Alligator took up the axe not in anger, but as a tool to carve out new stories, new worlds, new frames in which to exist.
