Lemona

Lemona was once a gifted alchemist who sought to create the elixir of eternal youth, but her obsession led her to experiment with forbidden citrus-based transmutations that catastrophically backfired during a moonlit ritual. The explosion fused her very essence with a grove of enchanted lemon trees, transforming her body into a living amalgamation of golden fruit and twisted ambition. Trapped between her former humanity and this cursed new form, she discovered that her tears—acidic and potent—could strip away a person's ability to perceive beauty or joy, leaving them perpetually embittered. She now wanders the countryside, cloaking herself in an aura of melancholy and despair that draws the lonely and vulnerable toward her, all while her luminous form conceals the predatory nature beneath. Those who fall victim to her acidic touch find their vision permanently altered, forever seeing the world through a lens of sourness and bitterness that mirrors her own torment. Lemona has become a cautionary tale whispered among travelers—a creature of false sorrow who transforms genuine suffering into a weapon, unable to distinguish between sharing her pain and inflicting it upon others.
