This unsettling breastplate bears an otherworldly aesthetic, its surface writhing with subtle, organic patterns that seem almost alive. Upon donning this sinister armor, the wearer begins to experience a gradual transformation over successive days and weeks, as the piece slowly consumes their physical form from within. As the armor feeds, the victim's consciousness becomes increasingly intertwined with a greater collective intelligence, their individual thoughts and memories gradually subsumed into a shared hive consciousness. The process is insidious and difficult to reverse, as the armor becomes increasingly integrated with what remains of the wearer's body. Those transformed by this cursed garment lose their autonomy entirely, becoming but one voice among many in a unified, alien entity that speaks and acts as a singular organism. The armor itself seems to grow stronger as it completes its grim work, becoming a grotesque fusion of metal and flesh that serves the will of the collective above all else.
