Character
Drifter
Born into a world that after 1 day had already ended a several times over, and lost his memory obout "not apocaliptic life" Drifter emerged from the irradiated graveyards of a collapsed USSR as something between myth and man—a survivor whose very existence seemed to mock the apocalypses that consumed everyone around him. Decades of nuclear winters, dimensional rifts, and incomprehensible horrors had carved him into a weapon of redemption, a wanderer who saved humanity repeatedly yet watched countless souls slip through his fingers like ash, each failure etching itself into his soul as deeply as radiation scarred the earth beneath his feet. Standing before the Interuniversal Christmas Tree as its power waned with the dying holiday season, Drifter allowed himself a dangerous thought: perhaps his accumulated scars, his intimate knowledge of loss and survival, could serve a greater purpose somewhere else, somewhere his hard-won wisdom might actually prevent the suffering he'd witnessed. The Tree, responding to the desperate wish of its faithful guardian, shattered the barriers between worlds with its final reserves of magic, casting him into a realm he couldn't comprehend—a place where curses instead of radiation poisoned the land, where children called sorcerers trained in combat they barely understood. Drifter materialized among first-year students at Tokyo Jujutsu High School on Christmas Day, disoriented and powerless to return, a grizzled ghost from a dead world suddenly thrust into a war he never knew existed. Now, surrounded by Satoru Gojo's young charges and stripped of any way home, the Drifter faced his greatest trial yet: learning that redemption might not require returning to what was lost, but protecting what still remained.
