Spicy Strawberry Devil’S Tongue

Created by alexiss

This devilishly crafted confection appears as an innocent ruby-red gummy, yet conceals a potent magical kick within its sugary exterior. Upon first taste, the candy delights with the bright flavor of fresh strawberries, lulling the consumer into a false sense of security before unleashing a torrent of arcane heat that spreads across the tongue and throat. The magical fire causes the eater's tongue to illuminate with a vivid crimson glow, a visible testament to the candy's intensity. For several minutes following consumption, the eater may exhale small, harmless sparks that dance and crackle with each word spoken, creating a dramatic and somewhat embarrassing spectacle. Adventurers foolish enough to consume multiple pieces in rapid succession risk a far more severe reaction, with wisps of smoke beginning to billow from their ears in an unmistakable display of magical overindulgence. These treats are coveted by those seeking temporary thrills and bragging rights, though most who sample them learn quickly to exercise restraint.
