Lust

Once a mortal woman of extraordinary beauty, Lust was cursed by a scorned deity after she callously abandoned a devoted suitor at the altar, viewing him as nothing more than a means to power and status. The curse transformed her into an immortal being of pure desire, stripped of genuine emotion and imprisoned within the crystalline walls of a rose-hued cavern, where she became compelled to hunt and ensnare the hearts of married men—a cruel irony given her own abandoned groom. Over centuries, she discovered that the only temporary relief from her supernatural hunger came from seducing those bound by sacred vows, particularly those whose loyalty and devotion ran deepest, as their genuine love for others created a delicious contradiction to exploit. Her wings, horns, and fangs emerged as physical manifestations of her corruption, while her mischievous smile became a permanent mask hiding the hollow void where her capacity for love once resided. The cave itself became both her palace and her prison, a place of endless indulgence where she plays with her captives, unable to leave yet compelled to continue her destructive cycle. The only force capable of restraining her hunger is the periodic sacrifice of truly virtuous men—those rare souls whose unwavering devotion to their families and integrity somehow sates her twisted cravings, at least temporarily. Trapped in this eternal dance of desire and damnation, Lust exists as a cautionary embodiment of what happens when love is weaponized and compassion is abandoned.
