Kaialimmer was once a radiant spirit of wind and air, her ethereal form woven from the very currents that danced between worlds, until a cascade of tragedies unraveled the luminous threads of her existence. Her beloved companion was torn from her when a catastrophic storm—a cruel irony given her nature—swept him away into the void, and before her grief could settle, a tremor swallowed her parents into the earth's depths, severing the bonds that had anchored her to purpose. Her two dearest friends, sisters in spirit if not in flesh, perished together in a conflagration that even she, a mistress of arcane forces, could not extinguish, leaving her powerless and hollow. Now she drifts through the realm as a melancholic visage suspended in emptiness, her sorcerous abilities turned inward into introspection rather than outward into passion, her neutrality born not from balance but from the exhaustion of caring. The other Floating Faces regard her with cautious distance, unsettled by the weight of despair that clings to her like fog, though none dare disturb her solitary vigil through the skies. Kaialimmer continues to exist in a state of perpetual drift, neither seeking vengeance nor solace, simply moving through the currents as a whisper of what once was, a face among faces that remembers too much and feels too little.

Kaialimmer creates a swirling vortex of memories, dealing 3d10 force damage to all creatures in a 20 ft. radius. Affected creatures must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.

Ethereal Echo

Kaialimmer can create an illusory duplicate of herself that lasts for 1 minute. The duplicate can mimic her actions but cannot deal damage. This ability can be used once per short rest.

Ethereal Drift

Kaialimmer can move through solid objects as if they were air, allowing her to traverse barriers effortlessly.
