C.R.O.W.D. Control Ninja Manual
This mysterious tome details the legendary battlefield tactics developed by the summoned hero Yūjin Shinrinryū during his time advising the Kurogane ninja clan. The manual describes five devastating phases of combat designed to overwhelm organized formations of ranged troops through confusion and psychological disruption. The first phase, Confuse, involves sudden disappearance and misdirection to disorient enemies about the ninja's location. The second phase, Rout, exploits this confusion to shatter enemy formations and break their coordinated response. As enemies become Oblivious to the true threat, the third phase weakens their resolve through disorientation and panic. The Wit's End phase unleashes paralyzing talismans and blinding smokescreen infused with raven feathers, incapacitating and overwhelming the enemy's ability to respond. Finally, the Defenseless phase allows the skilled warrior to execute devastating finishing techniques while enemies remain vulnerable. Though Yūjin intended only a clever crow-themed pun, his strategic framework was mistaken for serious military doctrine and preserved in this accidental manual. Those who study this tome gain insight into unconventional tactics that prioritize psychological warfare and environmental advantage over direct confrontation. The manual carries the wisdom of Sun Tzu's Art of War, emphasizing victory through deception, the preservation of enemies for interrogation and offer surviving enemies the opportunity to join his cause voluntarily, reflecting Yūjin’s interpretation of Sun Tzu’s belief that defeating an enemy without needless destruction can be more valuable than annihilating them. {It all started when the summoned hero Yūjin Shinrinryū (優仁森林竜) was talking to enthusiastic Kurogane ninjas about how to use the recent pairs of hook claws from black steel blades similar to katanas with the gravure of ninjutsu skills that makes the wielder at 5 meters in the air to counter a line of musket men. At first he intended to do a Crow pun but here is what he said: Confuse, Rout, Oblivious, Wit’s End, Defenseless. The Confuse phase is that the enemy doesn't know what is happening to the ninja suddenly disappearing where they shot. Then the Rout phase happens when their formation is broken or they try to look where the ninja disappeared on their horizontal view. The Oblivious phase happens when they look for Yūjin or the threat happening to them. The Wit's End phase is when Yūjin casts talismans of paralysis and a blinding black smokescreen where raven feathers are scattered everywhere to blind the paralyzed musket men. Therefore causing panic and pressure overwhelm their ability to respond effectively. Finally the Defenceless phase where Yūjin exploits the opening for the finishing combo from his tracking skills and strength enhancement abilities to slice the enemy unconscious so he can heal them for information purposes and extra volunteers inspired by the Art of War by Sun Tzu. When Yūjin finished talking about his theory about such strategy, the Kurogane ninjas and everyone initially thinks it’s a serious military acronym. It accidentally became a ninja manual.} Note: I was inspired by a meme from Shrek where he says "It's all ogre now!" 😅🤣 Here are a few puns or meme potentials with crow: “It’s all Crow now!” “It’s Crow-ver.” “You’ve been Crow’d.” “Crow around and find out.” With that, I'm crow'da here.

Effects
Confuse
As a bonus action, the user can create an illusion that causes enemies within a 30-foot radius to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 15). On a failed save, they are disoriented and cannot take reactions until the end of their next turn.
Rout
Once per short rest, the user can break enemy formations. All enemies within a 20-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 15). On a failed save, they take 3d6 psychic damage and have disadvantage on their next attack roll.
Wit's End
As an action, the user can cast a blinding smokescreen in a 15-foot radius. Enemies within this area must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 15) or be blinded for 1 minute. Affected enemies can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns to end the effect.
