Character
Orcash
Created by Lord_AlvaroBorn in the volcanic highlands where his clan mined precious metals and gemstones, Orcash discovered an unexpected gift for mathematics while counting ore shipments, eventually teaching himself advanced accounting through stolen merchant ledgers. When a devastating rockslide destroyed his family's mine, leaving the clan destitute, the young orc made the controversial decision to leave and seek fortune in the human cities below, where his imposing stature initially made him a target for discrimination until a shrewd merchant recognized his meticulous nature and hired him as a warehouse manager. His reputation for absolute honesty and his unique ability to physically intimidate thieves while simultaneously understanding complex financial instruments caught the attention of the Grand Vaults' director, who offered him an unprecedented position as head safekeeper. Over two decades, Orcash transformed the institution's security protocols and became the most trusted custodian of wealth in the realm, his massive frame now as much a symbol of fiscal stability as his legendary memory for every transaction ever recorded. Though his clan initially rejected him for abandoning tradition, Orcash slowly rebuilt their fortune by funneling his earnings into their reconstruction, proving that honor could be found even in unexpected paths. Today, nobles and commoners alike sleep soundly knowing their fortunes rest in the vaults guarded by an orc whose integrity is as legendary as his size.
