Kalthar

Kalthar was born from the primordial darkness that coalesced during Fustirah's violent creation, emerging as a being of pure malevolence whose sole desire was dominion over all existence and the subjugation of lesser beings to serve his twisted vision. As the appointed guardian of the Underworld, he began systematically corrupting his domain, transforming it into a realm of personalized torment where he could experiment with the suffering of wayward souls, bending them to his will through cruelty and manipulation. His ambitions grew beyond the Underworld's borders, and he schemed to break free and conquer the material planes above, but his sister Vidhatri, the radiant goddess of creation herself, perceived his treachery and challenged him to a contest of cosmic significance. In their clash of wills, Kalthar was defeated and stripped of the Black Lotus—the artifact that would have granted him dominion over all realms—condemned to eternal imprisonment within the depths he now ruled. Rather than submit to despair, the spiteful deity transformed his cage into a kingdom of darkness where he holds absolute authority over countless tormented spirits, each day stoking his hatred for Vidhatri while plotting an elaborate revenge that might finally free him to conquer Fustirah. His exile has only sharpened his cruelty, turning the Underworld into a monument to his spite, and he awaits the moment when his sister's guard may falter and he can reclaim what he believes was always meant to be his.
